Born and raised under the A in Texas, I left for college in St. Augustine, Florida, where I got a Bachelor of Arts degree in the field of Psychology.
Shenkai has been my online name since 2000. I introduced myself to the web in 1997 as chibifaerie, and through the years as Aurelia Blohm, vtoby, vjareth, zoilynn, Marianne Chang, and Deven Denara.
I've been designing websites since 1997, entirely self taught. So though it takes me a little longer than I'd like to figure things out, my perfectionism has made sure that I learn well what I am trying to do.
I am currently single. I've had relationships in the past, a string of them really, with no break in between, so I guess you could say I'm on a relationship sabbatical.
Right now I am also in to process of revising/reviewing my fics, and more of my fics can be found at FanFiction.net. You can find me there, still under the pen name shenkai
